I designed an experimental website for Rastah that embodies their brand’s unique aesthetic and vision. I focused on integrating various design techniques to provide an engaging and dynamic user experience while aligning with the brand’s aesthetic. These techniques included the parallax effect, Dobby zoom, hovering effects, and a working scroll button to enhance navigation. Additionally, a drag function was incorporated to give users the feel of a single-page layout across multiple pages, and details like the glass effect and color-changing buttons further elevated the interaction. Each of these techniques was implemented with careful attention to design principles that reflect the brand's unique identity and storytelling through fashion.
Key Gestalt principles played a significant role in the site's design. By using proximity and similarity, I grouped related elements to ensure a cohesive visual language, making it easier for users to navigate and understand content relationships. The principle of figure-ground was applied to enhance contrast, enabling important elements to stand out against the background. Symmetry in layouts provided balance, while continuity ensured a smooth and consistent flow in navigation. These principles allowed the website to maintain both an aesthetic appeal and a user-friendly structure, demonstrating my ability to blend design theory with practical application.

The logo should be clean and simple, with a strong, memorable icon that reflects our app's core functionalities.

We love the Sora typeface for it’s softness, rounded strokes, and it’s unique friendly look. It is versatile for display, headlines, digital design, and prints.

After implementing the new brand identity focused on making financial transactions and management easy, fast, and secure, the results were impressive. The app experienced a notable increase in user engagement, with a significant uptick in downloads and active users. The streamlined and user-friendly interface resonated well with the target audience of young professionals, who appreciated the ease of managing their finances on-the-go.
